Beauty pageants serve no purpose. They’re only one more thing that little girls can look at to develop a bad self image. And who gives a flying **** that Miss America snorted coke? She’s a grown *** woman; besides I didn’t even know who she was until all the hoopla started.

Well I have seen the gown’s etc.. on display in Atlantic City…Gorgeous!!
But I personally outgrew that whole stage years ago and don’t really pay any mind to it…however recently I read about it as it’s been interesting and I was curious of the outcome. It was a great way to get ppl intersted in the pageant for 5minutes again! lol

pagents are stupid…always have been, always will be in my eyes. I dont think she should be able to keep the crown/title tho, even tho i may pay no mind to the pagent world, many young girls do and that is not a positive thing to look up to. and to the girl who posted the answer about “who cares if she had a drink and made out with a girl she thought was sexy…” you may not mind being represented by that kind of girl, but i do mind and i think many other women and mothers of young girls looking up to Miss USA will agree with me. Plus the problem lies in the fact that Tara was underage while drinking in the clubs. She just turned 21 on monday! I think this is yet another example of how the pagent world is corrupt, unethical, inconsistant, and not a positive place for young girls.

well it shows that not all beauty pageant winners are PERFECT. atleast she admitted she was an underage drinker. but i thinks it was blown out of proportiion.

First of all, clarification - Miss America or Miss USA?
Next…quite honestly, I had lost interest in all that noise years ago. I didn’t even know when the pageant was anymore, who won it, etc. I think from some of the comments I’ve seen on here, people are being way harsher towards her than is called for. If anything, I guess you could say this whole ’scandal’ has breathed new life into the pageant.
